Details: At Ansonborough House, we pride ourselves on offering seniors choices that allow you to live your life the way you want. Located in beautiful downtown Charleston, SC, Ansonborough House is an exceptional place to live. It is conveniently located on the bus route and is near various grocery and department stores, as well as being in the downtown cultural hub. We provide a relaxing atmosphere, planned activities and a helpful staff. Ansonborough House is a truly well-rounded community. Ansonborough House is located at 71 Society Street in downtown Charleston, SC. It was built in 1984, and funded by Section 8-202, as a mid-rise apartment complex for seniors 62 and older who meet certain income guidelines. A six-story apartment complex, there are five floor plans with one- or two- bedroom apartments. Every unit has a full kitchen, great room, walk-in utility closet, separate bedroom & bath, and ample closet space. Located adjacent to the CASC, all 77 apartments are equipped with 24-hour emergency call button service as well as security and fire monitoring service. Ansonborough House has an in-house laundry facility and food mart, and offers recreational activities, trips and case management services. This enables residents to live comfortably and independently.
