Details: Canterbury West is a thirteen-story high-rise with 204 apartments. Income guidelines are set and subject to revision by HUD. Facility Features: Individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, sound resistant walls, cable television outlets, refrigerators and ranges are standard in each apartment. Bathrooms are equipped with showers, shower seats, grab bars and emergency pull-cord communication system. Apartments are equipped with smoke alarms, sprinklers and emergency call system. Front and back entrances are monitored 24 hours/day. Everyone entering must sign in and out and a professional security guard is onsite at night. Onsite laundry facilities with pay as you go card system are available in both buildings for your convenience. Amenities/Additional Services: The Canterbury Bus is available for grocery/shopping trips, cultural events and day trips. An in-house Gift Shop is available for your shopping convenience. Onsite Beauty Salon. There is a lovely, well-stocked library and beautiful lobby where residents can gather to socialize and entertain visitors. Check cashing and office services are available at no charge and US mail service is provided. Physical/Occupational Therapy services are available with a physician's order and free prescription delivery is provided by a local pharmacy. A well equipped exercise room is accessible to all. A computer lab with internet access is provided at no cost. A full activity program offers the following: exercise, educational programs, movies, parties and bingo. Interdenominational worship services are held throughout the week.

Comment from Ahnesha Burch on 2020-03-23 12:47:24: I am looking for something around 400-500 dollars a month. I am going back to Charleston for nursing school next fall and I am in need for an affordable place. I currently pay 449 a month where I am and I am always on time with my rent.
