Details: Providence Place was founded in 1995 as a safe and welcoming place for adults, ages 62 and older, to call home. Our HUD-subsidized private apartments were designed and built with seniors unique needs in mind to help residents age in place. Living at Providence Place means living in a friendly community and experiencing the peace of mind that comes from knowing our staff is here to help with services coordination and connect you to community resources. Providence Place is a three-story secure building with elevator access. We have 39 one-bedroom apartments and many of them face the beautiful Chehalis Valley. Each apartment is approximately 535 square feet. Our lush gardens are beautifully maintained and also the site of the Washington State University Extension’s Master Gardener program. We are also very fortunate that the local food bank delivers to Providence Place, creating our own community food bank. Providence Place is a non-smoking community. Amenities include: Air conditioning; Full kitchen; Dining area; Built-in storage; Private bathroom with a tub or walk-in/roll-in shower; Open living space; On-site laundry; Mailbox delivery; Computer lab with Internet access; Free wifi; Spaces for gathering and socializing with neighbors, including a community room, outdoor terrace, raised garden beds, television lounge. Our on-site Service Coordinator can help residents identify and access local resources. Our staff can also advocate for residents who need assistance. One small pet is allowed with a pet deposit.
