Details: The Golden Eagle Senior Apartments, consisting of thirty-six one bedroom garden level private entry apartments, offers independent living in the heart of Eagle, Colorado, within walking distance of the downtown area. ECO transit bus service is available within three blocks to access communities east and west of Eagle. Medical facilities are in close proximity. The rental units are reserved for low income senior citizens, 62 years of age or older, and disabled individuals. Applicants must be income qualified and pass a background check. The rentals rates are subsidized by the Federal Government through the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development Division. Residents discover the pleasures of being in a friendly community and can choose to relax in the comfort of their home or take advantage of a variety of activities offered. The Senior Center, located in the center of the apartment campus, provides a focus for senior activities and social networking. Health and wellness programs are offered weekly as well as bingo, games, card playing, and reading groups. Lunches are served Tuesday and Thursday each week. Scheduled van service is offered twice a week for errands and grocery shopping. Scheduled outings may include shopping, lunches, community events, or sightseeing tours to experience our beautiful scenery. Golden Eagle Senior Apartments is a non-smoking community.
