Details: Stevens Woods is a 59 unit community offering one bedroom units located in a common building with a secure entrance. All units are funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202 program. Eligibility is restricted to residents who have a head or co-head of household who is aged 62 years or older or a head or co-head with a disability and needing the features of an accessible unit. There are units that are fully adapted for persons with disabilities. Stevens Woods is located on a wooded property set back from the main road. The outside area includes ample spaces to gather and socialize. Community amenities include a craft room, a community room, library area and entertainment room. There are numerous resident centered activities on the property for all residents to enjoy. The community is owned by the North Haven Interfaith Housing which is a non-profit corporation.
