This 10-story brick, elevator building constructed in 1981 consists of 174 one-bedroom units and was substantial rehabilitation in 2012 using low income housing tax credits. Conveniently located in the District of Columbia’s Columbia Heights neighborhood, SJS NCBA Estates is a thriving community, designed to meet the needs and wants of senior adults, age 62 years of age or persons with mobility, hearing or visual impairments. Over 180 seniors call SJS NCBA Estates their home. All apartments are equipped with individually controlled heating and air conditioning, emergency pull cord system, energy saver appliances, smoke detectors, garbage disposals and more. For your convenience, we have two elevators and a controlled-entry access system, which provides for your peace of mind. The community offers laundry facilities on site. You can enjoy a good workout in the fitness center or challenge a fellow resident to a game of billiards. I AM A NEW RESIDENT AND I HAVE FOUND ALL THE STAFF TO BE THE KIND OF LOVING AND CARING FOLKS THAT A SENIOR SUCH AS MYSELF CAN DEEPLY APPRECIATE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUILDING TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR GENUINE KINDNESS IN A NEIGHBORHOOD THAT MORE THAN MEET A SENIORS NEEDS. "FIVE STARS"
