Details: Located on the Ebenezer Ridges Campus in Burnsville, Ebenezer Ridge Point Apartments provides affordable homes for people age 62 and older. This independent living community is financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) which provides Section 8 rental assistance to low-income older adults. Ridge Point Apartments have conveniences to make everyday life easier, opportunities for social activities and affordable rents. Specialized staff can help facilitate services as needed. Some apartments are also specially designed to accommodate people with mobility impairment. Each of the 42 one-bedroom, 540 square-foot apartments at Ebenezer Ridge Point Apartments includes a full kitchen with appliances, carpeting, air conditioning and an assigned storage space. Rent includes utilities except for electricity, telephone and cable television. In addition to the benefits of being on the Ebenezer Ridges Campus, other special features and services at Ebenezer Ridge Point Apartments include: Controlled access entry system; Emergency response system in every apartment; Free off-street parking; Meal program available on campus; Laundry facilities; Community room; Garden beds, including raised planting boxes; Pets under 25 pounds are welcome. The Ebenezer Ridge Point Apartments resident council plans many activities: Community outings for shopping, lunch, entertainment; Garden club; Life Long Learning programming; Intergenerational reading program; Entertainment; Spiritual services; Games and cards; Community service and craft projects; Monthly birthday party; Volunteer on the Ebenezer Ridges Campus; Ebenezer Ridges Auxiliary.
