Details: Harborview is a HUD subsidized Section 8 senior (62 years of age or older) and/or disabled apartment community. The building features an elevator, indoor mailboxes, on-site laundry with a sitting area, and off-street parking. Our community room has a full kitchen for parties and family gatherings. The TV lounge is a great place for socializing, card games, puzzles, and it has a beautiful view of Artist Point, East Bay, the harbor, and Lake Superior. Harborview is conveniently located within walking distance of the grocery store, bank, post office, senior center, and downtown Grand Marais. In addition, Arrowhead transit offers an on-call senior bus service from 9:00 am till 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Local annual events that take place near Harbor View include the Fourth of July fireworks over the harbor, Grand Marais Art festival, Fisherman’s Picnic, and fall-color tours when the leaves are ready! This is a great place for retirees, especially if you love living along the beautiful shores of our great Lake Superior.
