Details: Strainhurst offers beautiful spacious 1 bedroom apartments in Lamar, Colorado. Strainhurst Apartments are local affordable housing for qualified seniors and persons with a disability and is an independent living facility. The complex is located near the City Park with beautiful scenery of trees and wildlife; also there is a walking path around the spacious park. East of the complex is the Lamar Swimming Pool and Parkview Elementary School. Wellness clinics are offered by the Prowers County Nursing Staff, as well as Bookmobile service by Lamar Public Library. Strainhurst Resident’s Council provides a monthly resident dinner for all residents to enjoy, as well as bingo every Friday afternoon. The Community Room is equipped with washers, dryers, and computers for the residents and a beauty shop (TANGLES) for residents’ convenience. To meet your transportation needs the Prowers Area Transit bus (PATS) is available.
