Comment from BAD PRACTICES on 2014-12-18 02:31:09: They only select people with a job or income if you are on the waiting list and you can't pay the light bill yourself having to get a ultility check they will unleash their 4 trapps to get rid of you!!! 1) criminal check 2)credit score 3)rental history saying they are unsatifactory just to give your apt opportunity to the people they want to live there which is discrimination when you can't work based on a disablity and having no income which HUD is for us protecting our rights and allowing us to get fair housing opportunity. 4) if you owe SC &G a balance they won't approve you when you can easily pay it in full for new service. I was told over the phone I was denied based on my criminal record only nothing else said as the reason to be denied assuming I would just say ok good bye!! When I proved my record was PARDON they switched it to my rental and credit history when my credit score is 550 out of 350-850 mind you this apt complext is in the ghetto gutter who has perfect credit in the hood? My rental history is good the last 10 years no evictions, left on good terms my landlords can sign statements but they used a outdated real pages like the outdate info on my criminal report. Plus I'm currently with HUD qualified and they saying i'm not eligable for HUD! They are wrong and their Westminster property manager disregarding me opportunity based on a 20 years ago record that is removed by LAW still trying to uphold their denial after seeing my legal document of a PARDON and added that other stuff to try to keep me out!!! well SC commission is investigating we'll see how many people with under 550 credit score that was approved, and all the tenants chosen with income out of the last 30 people. They never sent me in writing my initial denial until I complained 3 weeks later because they assumed most of us ghetto people won't appeal or challenge them but they messed with the wrong applicant! They are wrong abusing power, and practicing deceit because they don't me having to get a ultility check through their corp office more work!!! just wanting people to be able to pay it without them involved. HUD is designed for the poverty individual in the hoods who require foodstamps, medical and assistance with poor credit scores but they are trying to change it to fit their desires putting the oprah's, gates and buffet's in those apartment with perfect scores and fianances when it's crime and no job's acting if it's in Irmo coummunity.
