Details: Edward and Lois Gray Apartments is a 14-story high-rise with 129 one-bedroom units located at 712 15th Avenue, Irvington, New Jersey. It provides housing for both senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The area is residential with convenient access to the Garden State Parkway and public transportation. The residents also enjoy transportation to the local senior center and shopping areas provided by the Township of Irvington. The kitchens come equipped with electric stove and refrigerator. The heat is individually controlled and the apartments also offer expansive closets. The building is handicapped-accessible with two elevators and features an on-site laundry room with new card-operated machines. There is an extensive security system including 24-hour lobby security guards as well as security cameras on every floor, in the parking lot, and around the exterior perimeter of the building. Additionally, there is an on-site service coordinator twice a week as well as resident led prayer meetings, weekly exercise classes, computer classes and game nights. There have been a number of recent renovations of the public areas including the gated outdoor patio and the community room which is fully equipped with a large screen TV, computer area, reading area and pool table. The lobby, parking lot and landscaping have also been updated in 2015.
