Details: Glade View Townhomes is a high-quality affordable housing project that includes four buildings encompassing 33 units: 8 one-bedroom, 14 two-bedroom, and 11 three-bedroom units. These units come equipped with washers and dryers, central heating and air, energy efficient refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves. The units contain carpeted bedrooms and luxury vinyl flooring in the living rooms and kitchens. High-speed internet and cable access are available in the units as well. The project features an onsite management office, playground and a community room that is available for resident use. A great location for families, Glade View is within walking distance of Webster County Memorial Hospital Clinic offering prenatal care, pain management, and physical therapy. Glade View Elementary and Webster County High School are both within three miles of the property. Nearby you can find shopping, dining, churches, auto repair, a post office, and the public library. At the edge of town is the Big Ditch Wildlife Management Area that provides walking trails and fishing. Utilizing tax credits awarded by the West Virginia Housing Development Fund and financing from U.S. Department of Agriculture (Rural Development) and Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation, Glade View is a beautiful example of both affordable housing and community collaboration. Glade View Townhomes is also a partnership with the Raleigh County Housing Authority which provided 25 units of project-based housing assistance for income eligible individuals.
