Details: Willowbrook Apartments is located on Willowbrook Drive and Shepard Street in Bennington. It opened for occupancy in 1973 and is designed for families. The complex consists of ten buildings, nine of which are townhouse apartment buildings containing a total of 75 apartments. There are two, three, four and five bedroom apartments available. Two apartments are designed for wheelchair accessibility. Most apartments are designed with the living areas in the downstairs portion, and the bedroom(s) in the upstairs. The development includes a playground, common area green spaces and sidewalks. There are parking lots between buildings, and each building has access to trash and recycling bins. A Community Building, located at 22 Willowbrook Drive, houses the administrative and maintenance offices of the Bennington Housing Authority, as well as a large community room. Molly Stark Elementary school is located across the street. Willowbrook Apartments is also located near numerous stores within walking distance. Public bus transportation available from the complex to a wide range of locations in town. All utilities (water and sewer, heat, hot water and electricity) are included in the rent.
