Details: Vintage Gardens is a community for seniors ages 55 and older. This is totally Independent Living for our Seniors. Our apartment homes are all wheelchair accessible and are all ground level. We have 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartments to choose from with No stairs! The enclosed porches on each apartment can be air conditioned or heated. Each apartment has an area for gardening plants or flowers. They are truly energy efficient with all appliances included; refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The connections for washer and dryer are in an area next to the kitchen. However, if you do not have your own washer and dryer, a laundry facility is on the property. Weekly activities are aimed for the continued healthy, happy lifestyle you deserve. We have Bingo, craft day and Friday Brunch each week. Additional activities offered throughout the year are covered dish dinners, cook-outs, going to local festivals, yard sales, afternoon at the movies, ice cream socials, birthday parties, and we even organized a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. Also available are assorted games for get-together. Library books and DVD's are available at the Club House. For those who like to garden, we have garden plots for you to plant your favorite vegetable. You can reserve our Club House for special occasions, such as birthday parties. We are located 1 mile from I-20 off Highway 25, and conveniently located for shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores; hair salons, Augusta Hospitals and medical centers.
