Details: The Conklin Senior Apartments development was a timely relief for many of the town’s seniors that lost homes in the summer flooding that inundated the Southern Tier. The apartment building is located just East of Downtown Binghamton, NY. We offer one and two-bedroom apartments which are available to senior citizens 55 years of age or older. Our apartments are equipped with central air conditioning, major kitchen appliances and ceiling fans. Our safety features include grab bars in the bathrooms, neighbor call/neighbor help pull strings in the bedroom & bath, and a secure, controlled, keyless entry with access through the main entrance door with intercom. Also, within each unit, we do have smoke detectors, heat detectors and CO2 (Carbon Monoxide) detectors and sprinklers as well. Our two-story building includes an elevator and is fully handicapped accessible. Community features include an onsite office, 24-hour maintenance, community rooms, laundry, storage and outdoor patio. Heat, water and trash removal are included at no additional charge. Pets are allowed, although some restrictions may apply. This property is within a short drive of a variety of sit-down and take-out restaurants, coffee shops, the post office, grocery stores, malls and other shops, Ross Park Zoo and Animal Adventure Park, many beautiful nature parks, trails and the Susquehanna River.
