Details: This 2-story, 74 unit senior community offers the enjoyment and freedom that comes with independent living aged 62+. Highlandtown Co-op is nationally recognized as “A Community of Quality” by the National Affordable Housing Management Association. Highlandtown Co-op is an old trolley car barn that was repurposed into a cooperatively managed senior housing community and has served Highlandtown since 1996. Resident members enjoy the peace and privacy of their apartments, but also enjoy participating in the frequent community activities. Come join in on bingo, or enjoy our 3 interior courtyards. There are also occasional catered events and many other chances to be a part of a lively community. Highlandtown Co-op is located near shopping, John Booth senior center, Enoch Pratt Library, and the world famous Johns Hopkins medical system. The building has quick access to I-95 and I-695. Highlandtown Co-op is affordable for everyone. Leveraging our Cooperative management system, we are able to keep rents lower than other communities.
