Details: Shawnee Place Apartments, formerly Maple Park Apartments, located just a few blocks off of Highway 65 in northern Chillicothe, Missouri is undergoing a complete rehabilitation that began in early December 2014. Our one bedroom units are being completely reconditioned and refurbished for an outstanding new lifestyle for our residents. All 48 existing apartment units are undergoing total upgrades by adding stackable washers and dryers, built in microwaves, frost free refrigerators, dishwashers, laminate wood flooring, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, self-cleaning ovens, new central heat and air, and insulated double windows. Rehab construction is expected to be complete and our wonderful newly designed apartments are expected to be open for our residents by the end of summer in 2015. Shawnee Place has 48 family units and is located just a few blocks off of Highway 65 in northern Chillicothe. With easy access to all parts of the city and to nearby routes out of town, our beautiful one bedroom units are an ideal location for your new home. Enjoy a terrific lifestyle, surrounded by everything you need for entertainment and all your daily needs. Chillicothe is a wonderful community in the heart of Northwestern Missouri featuring excellent medical care, fine restaurants, shopping, theaters, a great school system, library, bowling, YMCA, Aquatic Center, fishing and beautiful city park with sports and playground facilities. Shawnee Place is a tax credit / Rural Development community, so income guidelines will apply. Rental assistance may be available through Rural Development or Section 8 Assistance. Family services has both food stamps and Medicaid. Heat assistance may be available through LiHeap. Our management staff is always friendly and ready to help with your comfort and needs.
