Comment from Kelly J Bartlett on 2024-12-15 15:46:54: As a disabled person moving into this housing complex was what a dream for me. This spot is beautiful and the women and the few men that live here are amazing. Upon meeting the owner of the Multi-Management Group I found her to be an amazing smart, intelligent, driven and respected woman in her field of management. Unfortunately what I did find is that she doesn't care about those of us who are disenfranchised, are in a low-income housing situation to begin with. With that being said what I mean is the water out of a pristine well is so full of chlorine and bleach being pumped into it that you cannot shower and you cannot drink the water. There is no wheelchair accessibility which has been coded back since 1974. Radiant heat from the ceiling woth no vents or fans. Also having a skin cancer situation where I have to use a chemotherapy cream I have constant reactions to where that I really can't leave the house for weeks at a time. With that being said this means my opportunity for gainful employment is not possible to work with Children of Abandonment such as myself, who was abandoned at the age of 10 in the State of Maine. I've been through the system and have decent grip on how it works, which it doesn't. I have such admiration for this woman and I still do and why she will not talk to me or speak to me about the amount of bleach and chlorine being pumped into this well that we can't shower or drink the water in beyond compression. I've had seven spinal fusions I have now got to lift gallons and gallons of water just to drink, I cannot shower here because of the continual outbreaks that my chemotherapy cream is reacting to. I have contacted the state of Maine, Augusta, Susan Collins, Dick Campbell who does nothing for 9 years in this area as a representative. As a Republican I'm appalled at this that the only one who does anything from his office is his detail and thank goodness for them cuz maybe something will be done. This woman who runs this multi-management group has the options of free options might I say for interviolet light, rock salt filtration systems for wells that in her other properties, free of her from the state of Maine but chooses not to. I'm not really sure why but she won't communicate with me and I've got nothing but admiration for her like I've said over and over again but will not communicate with me which means nothing can be done. This causes me so much stress which causes pain which causes anxiety which causes No Sleep which means my body can't heal. This is a health risk and I am so tired of laying down and sitting back and waiting for her to say hey Kelly join my team, be my Advocate help me find ways and solutions to make these changes but you know what? she already knows the changes because she runs her management program already!! they've happened in other properties that she has in Glenburn. She's already retaliated Against Me by holding my check which she gets on the 4th of every month but holds onto until the 28th of November which puts me in a very difficult situation because I live on less than $1,000 a month and she knows it. So I'm getting to the point where I'm getting really tired of this retaliation. If she would only reach out and communicate like a normal human being would especially for those that are suffering, I wouldn't even be in this situation if I didn't need it lkke everyone that lives here Everyone is in fear of being evicted by Suzanne if they say anything at all negative about this property which they have been for years so I don't know what else to do. I honestly I just I I've never been in a situation where communication is in the utmost of importance to get problem solved. Her son Garrett inspects this building so there's definitely nepotism there which is awesome because I would think that they would work together. He is amazing, he's kind he's considerate he's exceptionally open to suggestions although pretty sure his hands are tied. Why wouldn't she want to help those that are suffering to begin with on your property? I don't get it. Please call me I'll be happy to help in any way. I've been an advocate for those that are suffering with less than what I have and I was a ward of the state at the age of 10 living on the streets in Bangor Maine in the winter time so you know what I know all about this but what I don't get is a woman who has the ability to make changes, positive changes to people's lives and she chooses not to. Please help us that are already suffering with a disability, please...I m begging you for your help. We all are.I am so over this but I'll tell you what I'm going to go all the way with it until I get the help that we all need here. We lost power last night everybody did, but we didn't even have emergency lights in the hallways to find our way out had there been a fire we wouldn't have been able to get out of here alive. There are no emergency lights cuz I'm no emergency lights outside this really is building this built in the 70s why someone who designed it who is a complete idiot with radiant heat in the ceiling instead of the floor but that's another problem I just want to drink a glass of water and take a shower and that's all I'm saying. World development has the opportunity to go to the state of Maine and get free adequate solutions to the well problem here and they choose not to do it. Will I choose to fight for this and for the women that are here that are suffering because they're genitals are burning because they can't take a freaking shower without bringing in a half a gallon of water to rinse themselves off and other tenants that have been prescribed shampoo by their doctor because they have nodules on their head bleeding and myself as well. If they would just communicate with us and tell us what's really going on and get past this and I know your grandfathered into a lot of situations that apparently make you happy but us non livable so if you can't drink the water and you can shower that's a basic human necessity. Please reconsider and talk to us cuz you know what this is not living, this is not Joy of living in any sense of the word, this is a horror show and it sucks and we're suffering already. PLEASE take a minute to actually care about your tenants. I pray for you everyday I pray for your heart to open up to maybe make a change we need.
