Details: San Jose Mission is a residential community composed of 122 rental units that provide housing for low income families involved in the agriculture or aquaculture industries. In addition, Catholic Charities provides counseling, housing counseling, immigration services, life skills education, and case management to the families. The Mission also currently hosts a community partnership of health, education, and social services agencies that provide a day care center for 90 children (operated by Redlands Christian Migrant Association); an adult education and literacy program (provided by Hillsborough County Schools); a parish nurse (provided by St. Joseph’s/Baptist Hospital). Catholic Mobile Medical Services, also available to eligible families, provides medical screening and follow-up medical care. It operates under the auspices of the State of Florida Department of Health Volunteer Health Care Provider Program targeting persons with household incomes less than 200% of poverty level and without health care coverage.

Comment from Monsivais on 2016-02-23 03:24:22: The "manager" Is extremely rude, it's always an awful experience to have to stop by the office. No rooms available for the migrant agriculture workers but she was able to find a place for her non agriculture working niece.

Comment from Tana Berberette on 2020-09-29 19:20:36: Someone that is with San Jose Mission has had an affair with my now ex boyfriend Glen Nobles. Who ever it is his car has been at the 3202 Mott Rd. address as well as the San Diego Ln address. Just thought I would give that person the opportunity to come forward willingly. It looks pretty bad to work for a christian based business and having an affair with someone you know was in a committed relationship.

Comment from Elizabeth Palacios on 2020-09-29 19:26:07: I lived there for about 3 years , l was very satisfied with the service overall because my 4 kids where very happy with the space we had there, which is nothing compared to what we have now, we don’t have very much space, there’s no privacy, and I would really like to come back to Florida where my family is and where I was very happy.
