Details: In 2007, we opened a 16-bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF-ID/DD) to care for medically frail individuals who need more specialized care, allowing them to “age in place” in familiar surroundings. The ICF-ID/DD provides ongoing evaluations and 24-hour supervision by nursing staff to ensure that these residents have the appropriate care for their specific diagnoses.
