Comment from Inna on 2014-12-18 03:47:14: I'm not sure this is 100% right place to tell about our years with the Slater Hill apartments. We had experience with Slater Hill Apartments at 8 George St. Well... rare in my life have I met more unprofessional, uncaring, manipulative, dishonest person as the manager of the house on 8 George Street M-me Stacy Vento. For more than 6 years, she bullied an elderly woman of a poor health. Despite all our good intentions we were unable to establish any kind of working relationships with M-me Vento and we were unable to prevent her attacks on our defenseless relative. At the end M-me Vento won. At least for now. She made our relative to change her place of residence. Our relative was unable to deal with M-me Vento anymore. We absolutely will seek justice and will do all in our power to remove M-me Vento from this management position. She does not have any of the qualities necessary to hold such position. Based on her "parting gift" to our relatives - refusal to return security deposit, facts manipulation, intentional lies and heavy build up of bureaucratic obstacles I would say activities of M-me Vento well deserve financial investigation. We have strong reasons to believe that she is a financially dishonest person. We will use all our means to bring right attention to Stacy Vento’s conduct. Meanwhile – this is one honest review. Hope this helps other people when they research their housing options.

Comment from daniel on 2014-12-15 21:15:17: During the last 2 years residing at this facility, nothing but bad experience with management. Living under a microscope is not a way to live. Investigating and prying into ones business is very intrusive. These two women that 'manage' this property should search for another career. They're pretentious, rude and racist. It's no wonder why this place was rated 'below average' I can go on but waste of my time.

Comment from Anonymous resident on 2022-07-21 12:57:11: Slater Hill Management is NOT doing anything to put surveillance cameras in the parking lots to help protect the residents vehicles after numerous catalytic converters have been stolen. Even after random people have been roaming the parking lots at late hours making residents uneasy. This issue needs to be addressed otherwise Channel 12 will be contacted. It is not right that Management staff is just telling residents to call police when they see suspicious activity as that is just the same as saying "go outside & put yourself in danger by presenting yourself to that random, suspicious person"!! When installing a camera can do the job for management staff and residents without jeopardizing someone's safety. The complex in itself is good to live in but even the elderly & disable have a right to feel safe where they live.
