Details: Our beautiful modern architecture is comprised of 222 apartments that are offered to seniors sixty-two years of age and older. In November of 2020, a two year remodel project was completed. Updates in electrical, plumbing, interior & exterior upgrades allow us to continue to offer comfortable living options to our surrounding community for many years to come. We are especially proud of our updated apartment finishes, triple pane windows and the addition of building air conditioning; all add to the comfort of living at Ya-Po-Ah Terrace. Our apartments have large windows offering abundant light and beautiful views. From these windows you will see: Skinner’s Butte, the Coburg Hills, and our beautiful Historic District to the North. Looking South you will see: the Willamette River, downtown Eugene and Spencer’s Butte. On a clear day, to the east, you can see the peaks of the Sisters Mountain Range. Our warm and inviting atmosphere offers comfort, security and socialization to everyone living at Ya-Po-Ah Terrace. In September of 2011, our building became a non-smoking community. Smoking is prohibited within the confines of the building. There is one area at the east end of our building that is designated “smoking area”. Ya-Po-Ah Terrace is located at 350 Pearl Street, Eugene, OR. Our three and one half acres are situated at the base of historic and scenic Skinner’s Butte, complete with walkways, flower and vegetable gardens, and a picnic and barbecue area for our resident’s enjoyment. We have numerous areas to sit and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Our prime location is just a couple of blocks from the historic Fifth Street Public Market and the downtown shopping area, including Eugene’s famous Saturday Market and Tuesday’s, Farmer’s Market. The area adjacent to our property also offers Amtrak access, a movie theater, several excellent and varied restaurants, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, Peace Health Downtown Medical Center and Celeste Campbell Senior Center. We offer comfort in four styles of spacious apartments: Studio, Alcove, One Bedroom, and ADA. All apartments have full kitchens and varied beautiful views. Our friendly community offers security, comfort and socialization. Further, we have numerous extra amenities to help you remain independent or just pamper yourself, accessing these amenities as often as you like. Our facility is truly a Community Under One Roof. Ya-Po-Ah’s bus provides transportation: twice weekly shopping, Tuesday Out to Dinner, M-W-F trips to the mall, trips to local concerts at the U of O Campus and other out of town ventures. Our local bus system, Lane Transit District (LTD), stops at our driveway and provides reliable transportation to the entire Eugene-Springfield metropolitan area, plus daily trips up the McKenzie River. There are no costly buy-in fees at Ya-Po-Ah Terrace. Rent is affordable and for those who qualify, Federal Rent Subsidies are available. All utilities are included except for telephone, cable and internet. Ya-Po-Ah Terrace is an Equal Housing Opportunity senior living community.
