Details: Platte View Apartments is a 48-unit affordable housing community located Casper, WY on the bank of the North Platte River. The property is conveniently located minutes from the Field of Dreams Baseball Complex, North Casper Sports Complex, and major transportation arteries. Healthcare, shopping, Casper College, entertainment, and employment are all within a short drive as well. The property was built in 1969 and rehabbed and placed in service in 2008 under the Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. There are existing regulatory agreements in place which require 97% of all units to be rented to income qualifying residents earning no more than 45%, 50%, & 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) limits, which are provided by the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA). Additionally, the property is a recipient of HUD Section 8 project based rental income assistance pursuant to a Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contract. The current contract has an effective beginning date of June 1st, 2022 and provides assistance for all units. Platte View Apartments offers one, two, and three bedroom apartments with private entries, open floorplans, and a full appliance package. Community amenities include an on-site laundry facility, on-site management, and a convenient location on the river, within walking distance to Matthew Campfield Park.
