Details: St. Joseph Place is a retirement community offering affordable, totally independent living in a peaceful, wooded setting minutes from downtown Atlanta. Located on a six acre tract adjoining the Village of St. Joseph and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, St. Joseph Place is an inviting cluster of one-story apartments, each with a private entrance and over 500 square feet of space. St. Joseph Place welcomes men and women of all faiths. Residents must be at least 62 years of age and income restrictions apply. Forty-seven one-bedroom apartment homes are grouped within 11 brick buildings to form an attractive, welcoming neighborhood. A separate building houses a furnished community room, information center, coin-operated laundry facilities, and a management office. St. Joseph Place apartment homes feature wall-to-wall carpeting, window blinds, and individual heating and air, smoke detector and hook up for cable television. Each unit comes with an efficient, fully-equipped kitchen, full bath, and separate bedroom/living areas. Specially equipped apartment homes are available which are handicapped accessible.
