Details: Pine Knot Manor is a 32 unit elderly housing complex off Hwy. 92 and Airport Road in Pine Knot. The site features zero and one bedroom units. All the apartments are one story units with front and back doors with patios. Applicants are limited to elderly individuals 62 years of age or older and to families where the head of household or spouse/co-head is 62 years of age or older, except for accessible units designed for the mobility impaired. Families must meet the income limits established by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. There are handicapped accessible units available within the complex. This complex has recently completed major improvements to the units and property including the replacement of all storm doors (front and back), all energy efficient windows, stoves and stove hoods, kitchen cabinets and countertops, water saver commodes and water heaters, medicine cabinets, light fixtures, double sinks and vertical blinds for all windows. The property has been enhanced with all new landscaping, replacement of all vinyl siding, replacement/repair of all sidewalks and resurfacing of the parking area. Pine Knot Manor has staff on site Monday through Friday with maintenance on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a laundry room available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At Pine Knot Manor, active senior adults have the opportunity to live independently in a beautiful neighborhood setting. A comfortable community room is on site and is home to activities for residents including monthly dinners, bingo, specialty parties, crafts, exercise classes, card games and more. The community room is also available to the residents after hours for family gatherings, birthday parties, etc.
