Details: Beech Valley Manor is a 32 unit elderly, handicapped/disabled apartment complex conveniently located behind the Don Franklin Chevrolet building, (Dugan Street) just minutes from shopping and doctor appointments. Families that live with us pay no more than 30% of their adjusted gross income toward rent. Criteria is to meet the income limits established by the U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and must be age eligible. The water, sewer and trash is provided along with your stove and refrigerator. All units have individual water heaters and through the wall heating and air. The resident is responsible for the electric. Telephone and cable jacks are in each unit. Apartments have laminate in the living room and bedroom. Screen doors and window shades are also provided. Beech Valley Manor has an on-site laundry facility with two washers and two dryers. We also provide on-site maintenance. The office is open Monday thru Friday. Monthly dinners, holiday parties, bingo and blood pressure checks are regularly scheduled in the Community Room. A shuffleboard court and shelter house with picnic tables is located behind the office building for resident use. Recent renovations to Beech Valley Manor include new roofing, new water heaters and heating/air units. Monthly Smoke Alarm Checks. Semi-Annual Unit Inspections. Monthly Newsletter Published. Beech Valley Manor is proud to say that we are home to the 2009 Kentucky Housing Corporation’s state resident of the year winner, Ms. Wilma Criswell.
