Details: Burkesville Manor Apartments is a 24 unit elderly, handicapped/disabled complex located within walking distance to shopping and doctor appointments. Families that live with us pay no more than 30% of their adjusted gross income toward rent. Criteria is to meet the income limits established by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and must be age eligible. The water, sewer and trash is provided along with your stove and refrigerator. All units have individual water heaters and through the wall heating and air. The resident is responsible for the electric. Telephone and cable jacks are in each unit. Apartments have laminate in the living room and bedroom. Screen doors and window shades are also provided. Burkesville Manor has an on-site laundry facility with two washers and two dryers. We also provide on-site maintenance. The office is open Monday thru Friday. Monthly dinners, holiday parties, bingo and blood pressure checks are regularly scheduled in the Community Room. We have an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables, benches and a grill for resident use. Recent renovations include new roofing and new sidewalks with concrete ramps to each porch eliminating all steps! New water heaters and kitchen ranges have been installed in all apartments.
