Gallaway on 2014-12-15 20:26:53: To whom it concerns at Holly Haven and it's Management, September 4, 2014 After being informed that my wife and I were approved for admission to Holly Haven after a year and a half wait on the waiting list, and after going in on several dozens of occasions to speak with the manager of the apartments, and after leaving countless messages for her at her office, we were informed that we were pushed off of the list because she could supposedly could not contact us. This coming from the same manager who was nearly never at work, but for a half an hour a day if that , and who never returned our calls, because she was supposedly on bed rest from her pregnancy. On the four or five occasions which I did find her in the office, to ask her about the apartment opening, she was rude and would never give me a straight answer. Then when our church got involved, she began with the story that we had failed to respond to a ten day notice to inform her if we were still interested, so we were bumped off of the list and must begin the years of the waiting list again. I consider this a case of straight up discrimination. We were constantly bugging her for the opening, while she was closing the case behind our backs. Now I have been requesting for weeks to have copies of this supposed paperwork, and I am getting her same snotty attitude while she refuses to produce the paperwork. Therefore I intend to take my case from the ACLU to the Disability Law Center, and everywhere in between in the search for justice that I am being denied by your company. Just because my wife and I are disabled, or look a certain way, does not give your employees the right to smile so wide while they screw with our lives and deprive us of our rights.
