Anyone who is 62 years or older or who would benefit from the features of our mobility-accessible units may apply for residence at St. Sharbel Village Apartments Phase I. The building was constructed under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) specifically designed for low-income residents. Your rent will be approximately thirty percent (30%) of the adjusted monthly income of all residents in the unit. At Phase I, we offer private entrances for our picturesque one bedroom apartments and efficiency unit homes. For those utilities not paid for by the community, residents receive an allowance to be credited toward their rent. Additionally, this great low-income community features: Vinyl Flooring in Kitchen and Bath; Electric Range and Refrigerator; Air Conditioning and Heating with Individual Controls; Telephone Connections Pre-wired in Convenient Locations; Free off-street parking; Fully Equipped Community Areas; Full-time On-site Manager and Maintenance Personnel; Coin-operated Laundry Facilities; Accessibility Features

Comment from Sandy Staes on 2014-12-15 20:47:09: My sister- in-law lives at St. Sharbel's and often has trouble finding a parking place near her apartment. Since this is a complex for elderly people, it seems each person who rents an apartment and owns a car should be guaranteed a parking place in front of their apartment. This issue is becoming very, very troublesome for all the residents.
