Details: Belvedere Centre Plaza offers subsidized rental apartments to low-income elderly and disabled persons in a comfortable, secured environment with locked entry doors, intercom system and video surveillance. Two floor plans are available. Each apartment is wired for individual cable and telephone. A courtesy van is provided at no charge to residents for local trips to grocery stores, doctor offices and personal errands. Residents enjoy a wide range of activities that encourage socialization in a community atmosphere. A full-time manager is on site to maintain good resident relations and ensure efficient daily operations. The maintenance staff handles general housekeeping in common areas and routine repairs to common areas and apartments. Staff is available 24 hours a day for emergency maintenance requests and assistance to paramedics and medical personnel. A service coordinator links residents to supportive services so they may continue living successfully in an independent environment. Built in 1989, Belvedere Centre Plaza is located near the historic district of Decatur, Illinois and is sponsored by Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Central Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church.
