Details: Amos Towers is owned by the “Amos Lodge of B’nai B’rith Housing Foundation, Inc” and has been in operation since December 1985. HBS Management Company has been charged with the responsibility of managing the building since January 2018. Amos Towers is a Section 202/8 federally subsidized housing program. Once you qualify for housing, your rent will be based on income, assets, and medical expenses. Our smoke-free building and property consist of 96 apartments designed for seniors. In addition, 10% of the apartments are available for persons under age 62 who need the accessible features of the apartment. We offer one-bedroom and efficiency size apartments with a separate sleeping area. Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two individuals in a one-bedroom apartment and one person in an efficiency apartment. The Apartments: Control the entrance door to allow your visitor to speak to you and enter the secured building with a push of a button on your phone. The bedroom and living room have hardwood tile throughout the apartment. Frost-free refrigerator and electric range are included. New kitchens in every apartment. Tub and shower combination with grab bars. Utilities included except electric, cable, and telephone. (A utility allowance is adjusted in your rent to assist with your electric usage). Gas heat is included. Window Blinds are included. Beautiful mountain and Scranton Hill Section views are available from your windows. A Maintenance Supervisor is available at Amos Towers during working hours and emergency maintenance service is available after hours, weekends and holidays for your convenience. A pantry, entrance closet, and double door bedroom closet are in each apartment. Strobes and fire alarms are located in each apartment as well as alarms in hallways.
