Comment from New Salem Manor on 2015-06-24 02:37:54: I am a resident here and is in a process of moving. Do not I repeat DO NOT move or have your love one or friend move here. This place is constantly breaking down and should be consider condemn to live here. As we speak there is no HOT water and this is not the 1st time this had happen. Also there been constantly state of Ohio inspector fining her and the owner of the apartment building. Not only that, the landlord need to be fired and they know this but yet still allowed her to be our landlord. She and the company is all about money and will any cheap mean to fix thing only to get broken down again. The landlord make up rule and there is no maintenance man as we speak. She have no way to be contacted if something happen because she keep her phone off the hook. After this review, I am filing a report against her and the owner to the attorney general office, state of ohio inspection and including the news media if I can get them to come out. This is a close border line to elderly abuse and people who are disabled. I cannot wait to move out of this dump!!!!!

The manager Tina calls monthly meetings where she threatens to evict residents in 3 days, which is illegal, but she says she will use her police friends to get us out if we call HUD to get help for these inadequate conditions. I have had 18 floods in 5 years, and toxic black mold under the carpet as they never properly dried my carpets. They did nothing. The ceiling keeps collapsing on the ground floor and the pipes flood the halls. The Manager allows her maintenance team to literally threaten residents and get in their face threatening to get them evicted {police report filed but company did nothing to Tina} Tina makes up lies to get out anyone who crosses her or calls HUD to get help. She allowed me to get eaten alive by bedbugs 2 years before she finally had my apartment heat treated. The ones who kiss up to her had their apartments heat treated immediately. I waited 3 months before the exterminator even came to check my unit. She also evicted me saying I had made racist slurs against Jews, and I am Jewish. I got out and this place should be investigated for disabled and elderly abuse.
