Details: Cedar Point Living has 9 partially furnished private bedrooms, with Jack and Jill-style bathrooms. Each room includes an appliance stand with a compact refrigerator, microwave, and television set. Cedar Point Living has a spacious dining room, living room, and kitchen areas that are shared by all residents. The kitchen is furnished with modern appliances, and the laundry room will be stocked with laundry supplies. Utilities and internet access are included in the monthly rent. Cable television will be provided in the shared living room. Separate charges for telephone lines and cable television inside the residence rooms may apply. The home has a beautiful porch, outside patio area, and sits on three-quarters of a fenced acre. Thanks to the generosity of the Claiborne County government, the facility has a van that may be scheduled for trips to medical appointments, shopping, and activity trips. Cedar Point Living is a HUD Section 811 subsidized housing complex. Upon qualifying, a resident will only pay 30% of their monthly income as rent making Cedar Point a very affordable place for older adults to live comfortably. Applicants will qualify to live in the facility by: Being 62 years of age or older; Meeting the financial requirements. Office staff will assist residents with case management services such as Mobile Meals and in-home group activities. Affordable options for assistance with bathing, cleaning, medication reminders or other activities of daily living, are available through Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service, Inc (SCHAS). These services can be provided with a separate contract and charges will apply.
