There is a playground for the children to scamper about, as well as basketball and tennis courts for young and old to enjoy. Parking is abundant for both tenants and guests. No pets are allowed except service animals. There is smoking only in one’s apartment, not in the common areas. The town of Oxford was settled in the mid to late 1600s and incorporated in 1713. It is the birthplace of Clara Barton, the founder of the American Red Cross, and also of Elliot Joslin, the first doctor in the United States to specialize in diabetes. He founded the Joslin Diabetes Center. The total population in 2000 was 13,502 people. So, for those who like quiet, town life, New Orchard Hills is a perfect choice to call home.
