Comment from Anna Galano on 2015-10-22 21:42:32: This information is totally inaccurate. Within the village is a wonderful community room used for various functions such as bingo, cards, an exercise program, blood pressure clinics, and various other resident activities. That has never happened! even the following has never happened. Northbrook even provides transportation to residents with a van servicing nearby shopping destinations and doctor visits. It takes months if not years to have repairs done. A handicap person has been waiting months for his outside light to be repaired. Another tenant has been waiting since summer for her shower to be repaired. Another tenant has waited 6 weeks for a new thermastat, and now it's cold. I've been waiting 3 years for my front door to be repaired, in the winter the door blows open and I've had to shovel snow out of my apartment. The new management team stated a work crew was going to come in and do the weeding. It's now October and they still haven't arrived. Complaining to the new management team goes to deaf ears.
