Comment from Jeanine black on 2024-10-05 00:57:22: I've been living at handcock court for several years where I reside with my little shitzoo, shortly after moving in I got my dog and the requirements upon keeping my dog I had to get a letter from my doctor saying she was a therapy dog for me which I did provide the paper work that handcock court required...fast forward Oct 30 2022 I was going out to the park on a beautiful Sunday morning with my neighbor her 10 year old granddaughter and my little shitzoo and then the Horrifying Incident took place the elevator doors were opening and unleashed pitbull grab my dog head and then the pitbull try to get out of the elevator but the keeper of the pitbull stop her from Exiting the elevator so here we are my neighbor her granddaughter and my self stuck in the elevator fighting this pitbull that wasn't suppose to be on property to save my dogs life after kicking and punching and trying to hold this dogs jaw open so it didn't crush my dog head the pitbull finally drop my dog were she was rushed to urgent care and transported to angel Memorial in Boston and I was treated at urgent care as well for my injuries and then on to A specialist..I don't know why handcock court allowed this pitbull to stay in a elderly and disabled building and let this resident keep and eye on this dog for the dog breeder and when I moved in with my shitzoo I had to get a doctor's note to keep her so why doesn't the pet policy apply to everyone that dog should have never been able to stay after the incident the guy rid of the pitbull and I was told by management that this resident would never be able to have another dog and 2 weeks later he has a pitbull puppy back in the building how is that possible I am very disappointed and disturb over this that this is happening again I am infair for my dogs life as well as my own and infair that someone else is going to get injured or killed
